The IGET Bar Pro is rechargeable, which is the single biggest difference between it and the classic IGET Bar. Recharging is what lets a Pro run through its full puff rating instead of dying with liquid still in it. Here is how to do it properly, and what to check when it will not charge.

Can you recharge an IGET Bar Pro?

Yes. The IGET Bar Pro has a charging port built into the base of the device, so when the battery runs flat before the e-liquid runs out, you top it up and keep going. This is normal and expected with the Pro — the battery is deliberately smaller than the liquid capacity, which is how the device stays slim.

This is the opposite of the classic IGET Bar, which is a sealed disposable with no port and cannot be recharged at all. If you are unsure which device you have, look at the base: a port means a Pro, a smooth sealed base means a standard Bar.

What charger does the IGET Bar Pro use?

A standard USB-C cable — the same type that charges most modern Android phones, tablets and laptops. Use a normal low-output USB port such as a laptop port, a power bank or a standard phone plug.

What matters more than the cable is the power source. Avoid fast-charging or high-wattage laptop bricks. A small vape battery is not designed for that much current, and pushing more power at it shortens battery life at best. Slow and standard is correct here.

How to recharge an IGET Bar Pro step by step

1. Stop vaping and let the device sit for a minute if it feels warm.
2. Find the USB-C port on the base of the device.
3. Plug in a standard USB-C cable, connected to a normal USB port or a low-output wall plug.
4. Watch for the charging indicator to light up or the screen to show the battery filling.
5. Unplug as soon as it reads full. Do not leave it charging overnight and do not leave it charging unattended.

How long does it take to charge an IGET Bar Pro?

Usually well under an hour from flat, and often far less if you are just topping it up. If your device has been on charge for hours and still is not full, something is wrong — unplug it and read the troubleshooting section below rather than leaving it connected.

Why is my IGET Bar Pro not charging?

Work through these in order. Try a different cable first, because a failing USB-C cable is the most common cause by a wide margin. Try a different power source next. Check the port for lint — pocket fluff packs into the port and blocks contact; a dry cotton bud usually clears it. And check the device is not simply finished: if it charges normally but produces little or no vapour, the e-liquid is spent and the device has reached the end of its life. That is not a fault.

Never open, puncture or modify the device to get at the battery. If a device gets hot, swells, leaks or smells burnt, stop using it, unplug it and dispose of it responsibly.

How long does an IGET Bar Pro last?

That depends on how you vape rather than on the battery, since the battery is rechargeable. Longer, harder draws use more liquid per puff, so the device finishes sooner. Most buyers find a Pro lasts considerably longer than a standard Bar, which is the main reason to choose one.
